Victoria British Columbia, Canada

I've lived in Seattle for 7 years and have never taken the trip to Victoria BC, Canada. On January 21st, 2006 that changed when I took the Victoria Clipper from Seattle to Victoria for an overnight trip. It is about a 2 hour ride on the Clipper up to Victoria which is a water-jet propelled catamaran. Victoria itself is a beautiful city both in terms of its layout and scenic beauty. There is no need to rent a car when visiting Victoria as the city is very walkable or try renting a bike. As you would expect at any tourist destination Victoria has plenty of shopping, but, don't miss other sits such as the Parliament Buildings and the Royal British Columbia Museum. Then of course there is the natural beauty of the harbor or the distant Olympic Mountains on the Olympic Peninsula in Western Washington. Below you will find just a few pictures of the natural beauty around Victoria British Columbia.
