October Visit to Kentucky

In an effort to reduce the backlog of pictures I have to post I'm writing this as I fly back to Seattle from my visit to Northern Kentucky. This 9 day 8 night trip was an opportunity for me to spend some time with my Grandparents, family, friends, and a day of work. Hold on, did I say an opportunity to work! The real opportunity was not to work but to meet coworkers at the Cypress Kentucky CAD Center. Looking back on this trip I wish I had more pictures, even so I have quite a few that I hope my friends and family will enjoy seeing here at PIAP.com.

Living thousands of miles away from all of my family and friends from school I enjoy any opportunity to visit with them. Unfortunately this trip was made a bit more urgent by the fact that my Grandmother was in her third week of Lung Cancer treatment. The good news is that the side effects my Grandmother has experienced with daily radiation and weekly chemotherapy have been mild. Only time will tell for sure how sever the side effects will be and the over all efficacy of the treatment. I look forward to posting pictures from our family gathering for Christmas 2005, which will be the next time I see my family.

In addition to spending time with my grandparents I spent lots of time with my younger sister Molly and my older sister Brigitte and her family as well as my friend since third grade, Chris, his family, a couple of cousins, and an aunt an uncle.

Mac runs from the camera, but, I'm too fast for him and with the minimal stutter lag of the Nikon D70 he doesn't have a chance. Cole challenges the goalie for the soccer ball.
