What kind of a guy in his mid twenties, who is a very talented electrical engineer, leaves a perfectly good job to sail around the world with two of his buddies? The same kind of guy that throws a cook-out in the company parking lot for his coworkers with free steak and beer on the last day of his employment.
As anyone at Cypress MicroSystems would tell you Jeff Stewart is a talented and unique individual. Coming to work for Cypress MicroSystems right out of school Jeff has excelled in his job and will be greatly missed at Cypress MicroSystems. Not only for his technical abilities, but, also for his jovial and up-lifting demeanor. Oh yeah, and his sarcasm and no nonsenses approach.
May 27th, 2005 was Jeff's last day at Cypress MicroSystems. Rather than let all of us take him out to lunch Jeff decided to throw a little parking-lot cook-out for all of us. Jeff also choose steaks over burgers; this guy is full of surprises. Well, at least Jeff didn't have to buy his own cake, as shown in the pictures below. Also, Jeff continued what seems to have become a tradition of a parting limerick rather than a brief speech. This was started by Todd.
Jeff and his sailing buddies also have big plans for their boats website. So, checkout Sailing Vessel SOHCAHTOA and keep up with their adventures around the world.
