Onur and I headed out to do something and we ended up at Edmonds Beach in Washington. We arrived just as the sun was setting. It proved to be an interesting picture taking opportunity because I had to over ride to automatic flash to get Onur and I not to show up in silhouette. Forcing the flash on seemed to do a good job of lighting the foreground subject while keeping the background colors natural.

One of the side effects of using the flash seems to be that the subject almost looks like he is standing in front of a fake background. If you are an experienced photographer and have any tips for me please send me an email.
