Talapus and Olallie Lakes are an easy evening hike. It is less than 2.4 miles to Talapus Lake with an elevation gain of less than 800 feet. Olallie lake is just a half mile or so passed Talapus lake and only a few hundred feet higher.
On August 13 we started at 5:40pm and arrived at Olallie Lake at about 7pm, including a short stop at Talapus Lake.
