Snow Lake, Snoqualmie Pass, Washington

New topo map for Snow Lake.

Snow Lake is the largest of the alpine lakes in Alpine Lakes Winderness area of Snoqualmie Pass. The lake itself is more than one mile long and is located at an elevation of 4000 feet. Snow Lake is surrounded by Wright Mountain (5500 feet), Kaleetan Peak (6259 feet), and Chair Peak (6238 feet).

On July 27, 2002 we started from the Alpental Ski Area (3100 feet) and hiked up a ridge (4400 feet) located between Chair Peak and Snoqualmie Mountain. We then descended the north side of the ride to arrive at the east end of Snow Lake.
