Iron Horse Trail

On June 1, 2002 I visited the Iron Horse Trail for the first time. The trail is located about 32 miles east of Seattle Washington. I got their by taking exit 32 off of I-90 and heading south. I traveled a few miles until I came to Rattle Snake Lake where the Iron Horse Trail starts.

The trail is a gentle continuous uphill grade. I covered 9.3 miles in 1 hour. Which put me at Garcia road.

One of the major attractions of the trail is a 2 mile tunnel. I didn't go the extra 5.7 miles needed to reach the tunnel on this trip but I plan to go back and experience the ride though the tunnel for my self.
