Sledding at Hyak in Snoqualmie Pass
Saturday February 21st 2004 was a terrific day for sled riding in Snoqualmie Pass Washington. The temperatures were moderate, the sun was out, and everyone was in a good mood. Directions: from the greater Seattle area take I-90 East to Snoqualmie pass. Check out the WSDOT Snoqualmie Pass Road and Weather Conditions before you leave home. Just East of the summit take Exit Number 54. At the end of the ramp take a right. Then at the stop sign take a left. I don't recall the exact distance but I would say after about 1 mile there will be a road to the right that leads to the Hyak parking lot. When you take the right off the main road you will again veer to the right and see the parking lot. When you enter the lot there will probably be a booth collecting a small parking fee. Also in the center of the parking lot there is a bathroom building. It isn't hard to find at all.
