My Sister, Kentucky State Board of Education Member

The past few weeks have been quite exciting for my older sister Brigitte and her family.Brigitte has been a long time school board member in the county she lives in andas recently recognized for her work and her passion for education when she wasappointed to the Kentucky State Board of Education. Brigitte will be leaving herposition with the United Way in Cincinnati Ohio to join the Kentucky State Bord ofEducation.

The governor's press release had the following to say about Brigitte.

Brigitte B. Ramsey, of Falmouth, will represent members-at-large. She is a public policy analyst for the United Way of Greater Cincinnati and a member of the Pendleton County Board of Education. The appointment replaces David Webb, whose term has expired. Ramsey shall serve for a term expiring April 14, 2012.

Congratulations Brigitte your hard work and determination to earn two Bachelors and a Masters is really paying off.
