Dream Team Raises $18,686 for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
Perfect weather, a huge turnout, and record breaking fundraising made the Dream Team's 2008 Walk to Defeat ALS the most successful of the past five years. With a $7,000 donation from Cypress Semiconductor the Dream Team's total for this year was an incredible $18,686.

Misc Pictures from my Ohio, Kentucky, Florida Vacation
Below are a few pictures from my recent vacation to Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida to visit family and friends. The first couple of pictures were taken at a church festival in Reading Ohio followed by min-golf pictures at Kincade Lake in Pendleton County Kentucky. Finally pictures hanging out with family and friends before my cousions wedding in Fory Myers Florida.
Laura and Tim's Wedding in Fort Myers Florida
My cousin Laura is from my Mom's side of the family. On Saturday June 28th she and her bridegroom Tim were wed in Fort Myers Florida. There are few things in this world as precious as family, including extended family, and the occasion of Laura and Tim's wedding generated an expression of the strength and depth of my extended family. Laura, Tim, and nearly everyone in attendance at their wedding are from the mid-west so their wedding in Fort Myers Florida was a destination wedding that required everyone to travel a long distance to be present. My Sister, Kentucky State Board of Education Member
The past few weeks have been quite exciting for my older sister Brigitte and her family.Brigitte has been a long time school board member in the county she lives in andas recently recognized for her work and her passion for education when she wasappointed to the Kentucky State Board of Education. Brigitte will be leaving herposition with the United Way in Cincinnati Ohio to join the Kentucky State Bord ofEducation.

Patrick & Andrea's Wedding
Two friends of mine, Patrick and Andrea, were married in a heartwarming ceremony Saturday February 16th in the Loomis Trail Mansion at the Semaiahmoo Resort. Below are a few pictures from the ceremony and the reception. I've included one grainy picture of Patrick and Andrea in the foreground with Patrick's brother and sister in the background singing because this was one of the most wonderful moments of the wedding, besides the vows of course, to hear two members of the wedding party sing to the new couple.
