I hope you enjoy these photos and several versions of, "The Air Force Song". My Sister Brigitte called me today to let me know that my grandfather was at the hospital in the ICU and is not expected to recover from a fall that injured his head. Being thousands of miles away Brigitte suggested I try to find, "The Air Force Song" song Grandpa was looking for. Grandpa remembers his time as a flight engineer during WWII fondly and talks often about how, "the dear Lord", saved him when he was grounded for a head cold on the mission where his plane was lost.

I'll see Grandpa and my family tomorrow, but, for now these pictures and songs are my sign that Grandpa Al is in my heart and prayers.
